Yesterday I placed an order for my family's Halloween costumes (yes, I know it's still August). I found some reasonable deals through buycostumes.com and from what I've read they offer great customer service. (I'll report more on my experience later). Just before I went to check out it occurred to me that I should search for some online discount codes. In fact, it was the discount code box that reminded me to check.
A quick google search immediately found me a 10% discount code. I looked down the google results a bit further and was able to find a valid 12% off code. In the end my 5 minute search saved me about $15 - not bad!
Anyhow, I hope this is a little reminder to you to always search for discount codes before making an online purchase.
